A fun and witty shopping site, Cool Mom Picks had a great concept, brilliant writing and style, but their site wasn't winning any awards. Kristen at Cool Mom Picks came to me wanting something bright, fresh and new. She got what she was looking for. We set Kristen and the other cool moms up with hosting and a new Movable Type generated site. Being used to Typepad, the transition to Movable Type was challenging at first, but they soon realized that the added flexibility was much preferable to the design confines over at Typepad.

Outgrowing their "training wheels" at Typepad, the new design was a big hit. In addition to the pretty new look, we gave the entire site an overhaul - consolidating the cluttered sidebars into neatly organized sub-pages easily located at the top of the site. Removing the sidebar clutter provided much more white space and made their advertisers happy with ads that stand out.
